(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-Okla.) will be holding a series of town hall meetings in Oklahoma next week. At each event, Dr. Coburn will use this time to take questions and address important issues facing Oklahoma and our nation.
“I encourage everyone to attend and participate in these town halls. These settings give me an important opportunity to hear directly from the Oklahomans I am representing, and they provide a chance for Oklahomans to hear my views on current legislation in Congress,” said Dr. Coburn.
Meeting dates, times and places: Aug. 6, University of Tulsa, Lorton Performance Center 550 S. Gary Place (corner of Fifth and Harvard), 6 p.m.; Aug. 7, Vinita Ewing Halsell Middle School, 226 N. Miller St., 10 a.m., Grove Community Center, 104 W. 3rd St., noon, Rogers State University Auditorium, 1701 W. Rogers Blvd., Claremore, 2 p.m.
