Lady Eagles end Tigerettes season

TULSA - The Pryor Tigerettes fought hard from start to finish, but their season ended at the hands of Tulsa Edison, 67-49 in regionals Thursday night.

Edison started the game on a 27-0 run that lasted into the second quarter. Kayla Curnutt’s offensive putback at 7:18 in the second got the Tigerettes on the board, and Pryor played well through the rest of the game and never gave up. The Tigerettes outscored Edison in the second and fourth quarters, but couldn’t dig themselves out of the big hole.

Shelby Pearson led Pryor with eight points. Pryor had 11 players record at least a point. Danielle Bever and Antoinette Carter led Edison with 13 apiece.
