Locust Grove is hosting Adair, Chouteau, Salina, Keys, Grove, Ketchum and Westville for the Invitational Tournament, scheduled Jan. 7-12.
In the first round, the double-elimination competition pits Adair against Ketchum Jan. 7, at 5:50 p.m.
Locust Grove battles Salina Jan. 7 at 8:45 p.m.
Keys takes on Grove at 5:50 p.m Jan. 8, and Chouteau plays Westville at
8:45 p.m.
The winner of the Chouteau/Westville game takes on the winner of the Locust Grove/Salina game at 8:45 p.m Jan. 10, and the winner of the Keys/Grove game meets the winner of the Adair/Ketchum game Jan. 10, at 5:50 p.m. in the semifinals.
The championship game is scheduled for Jan. 12, at 8:30 p.m.
Ketchum carries the most momentum entering the tournament with an undefeated record, and fresh off an 86-22 blowout win over Colcord.
Westville has strung together four in a row with its last win coming over Jay, 59-49.
Keys beat Wagoner 64-58 in its last outing, and Chouteau defeated Salina in overtime 70-62.
Adair, Salina and Grove are comimg off losses.
Chouteau will play Kansas before the tournament begins.
Girls
In the girls division, Adair faces Chouteau at 4:30 p.m., Jan 7., and Salina plays Ketchum at 7:20 p.m., Jan 7.
Locust Grove opens with Keys at 4:30 p.m., Jan. 8, and Westville takes on Grove Jan 8, at 7:20 p.m.
The Grove/ Westville winner plays the Salina/Ketchum winner Jan 10, at 4:30 p.m., and the Keys/Locust Grove winner plays the Chouteau/Adair winner at 7:20 p.m., in semifinal-matchups.
The girls final is scheduled for 7 p.m., Jan 12.
Adair and Ketchum are undefeated thus far in the season.
Ketchum is coming off a 38-33 win over Colcord, and Adair beat Kansas in its last outing 49-33.
Salina destroyed Chouteau 50-26 to head into the break.
Westville last beat Jay, 44-41, Keys dropped Wagoner, 48-25 and Grove defeated Wagoner, 39-30.
Locust Grove is coming off a 71-48 loss to Ft. Gibson.
