JAY - It took overtime, but Pryor was able to come away with a 68-58 victory against Jay Saturday night.
The Tigers went 19-for-22 in the overtime period from the free throw line to pull out the victory.
The two teams battled to a tie in the first period, 12-12. P.J. Stimson had six of the Tigers first quarter points.
Pryor had the lead by halftime, 26-22, thanks to a big quarter by Jordan Madole, who put in seven points.
Jay controlled the third quarter and took back the lead in the third, outscoring the Tigers
16-7, as the Tigers only managed one field goal in the quarter. The Bulldogs led 38-33 going into the final quarter.
But Pryor came back thanks to 10 points combined from Madole and Matt Ogg.
In the overtime frame, Parker Ballard went 9-for-10 from the line, while Kody Conley went 7-for-8 to help seal the victory.
Ballard led Pryor with 15 points.
Madole had 14 while Conley and Stimson both had 11.
Brandon Edge led Jay with 17.

Lady Bulldogs turn back Tigerettes
The Jay Lady Bulldogs controlled the game from start to finish and came away with a 69-37 win over Pryor.
Jay led 17-7 after the first, and had a 41-16 lead at the half.
The Lady Bulldogs took a 61-22 lead into the fourth quarter.
Michaela Roe led Pryor with nine points. Hannah Ritter led Jay with 23.
Pryor was supposed to travel to Locust Grove Tuesday if the weather allows it. The Tigers celebrate Homecoming Friday against Coweta.
