Brumley signs with UCO

Chouteau’s Tressa Brumley signed to play golf for the University

of Central Oklahoma Wednesday at Pryor Creek Golf Course.

“I like their coach and program,” said Brumley of her decision.

She also liked that Central Oklahoma has a PGM program, which teaches students about golf management and helps them earn membership in PGA of America.

Central Oklahoma is one of only 20 schools accredited by the PGA.

Brumley enters her senior season at Chouteau looking for her second state championship.

She would only be the second female golfer in Mayes County history to achieve that honor.

Brumley won state last year, and was runner-up the year before.
