Players of the Week
What would players of the week be without Salina’s Darin Pettit? Pettit has earned that honor several times this season, and closed out the season with another big game. Pettit had 16 carries for 219 yards and three touchdowns. Pettit should cross the 2,000 yard mark if he keeps pace in the first round against Hominy.
Pryor’s Dalton Burchett helped out on both sides of the ball for the Tigers Friday against Hale. Burchett got his 10th interception of the season and broke up several passes. He also had 47 yards on four catches and a touchdown.
Chouteau’s Josh Shive only had three catches, but gained 161 yards and had a touchdown for the Wildcats.
Adair’s Michael Fraley had 100 yards rushing and receiving for the Warriors in their playoffs clinching win.
Tyler Fox averaged over 10 yards a carry for Locust Grove Friday. Fox had 49 yards on four carries and a touchdown.
