SALINA — The Salina Wildcats locked up a Class 3A high school baseball district championship Thursday, throwing away Keys in a pair of lopsided decisions.
The Wildcats won the first game, 11-1, and took the second game, 14-1.
Ranked sixth according to OkRankings.com, the Wildcats pushed their record to 22-5 and their winning streak to six.
They now move on to the regional tournament level and pairings will be announced on Monday.
Keys finished its season at 6-28.
