Eufaula — Monday. Elevation half-foot above normal, water clear in the east and murky in the west. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along rocky areas. White bass good on jigs below the dam when running water. Blue catfish fair on fresh shad along rocky areas and shallow flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs along riprap and standing timber. Fort Gibson — May 12. Elevation normal, water 74 and clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 2-10 feet early and late. White bass good on the windy points on white rooster tails and small crankbaits while trolling. Catfish good on shad and cut bait drifting the flats and on shrimp and corks along rocky banks. Keystone — Monday. Elevation 2 feet above normal, water 74. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 5-8 feet. Catfish excellent on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait and shad. White bass excellent on rooster tails and spoons at 7 feet. Karlin Bailey, game warden, Creek County.
Lower Illinois — Monday. Elevation normal, water 42 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits at 1-2 feet all along the river. White bass fair on jigs and spinnerbaits at 1-3 feet all along the river. Striped bass slow on jigs at 1-2 feet at the mouth of the river. Channel catfish excellent on cut bait on bottom all along the river. Crappie fair on spinnerbaits and jigs at 1-3 feet all along the river. Tenkiller — Monday. Elevation half-foot above normal, water 70 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and soft plastic baits at 3-15 feet. Crappie fair on jigs at 15-20 feet around brush. Catfish good on flip-flops baited with cut bait at 20-30 feet. Sunfish good on worm-tipped jigs in or near the docks. Webbers Falls — Tuesday. Elevation 3 feet above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on chatter baits, spinnerbaits and buzz baits along riprap, creek channels, brush structure and mudflats.
