NORMAN (AP) — Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says there wasn't anything the Sooners did wrong against UTEP that can't be corrected.
Fourth-ranked Oklahoma held off UTEP 24-7 on Saturday night, but needed two fourth-quarter touchdowns to put away the pesky Miners.
Stoops said Monday the Sooners "missed an assignment or two" on key offensive plays that could have led to touchdowns or first downs and did the same on defense, allowing UTEP's Nathan Jeffery to rush for 177 yards.
He says they'll "want to clean some of that up" this Saturday when they host Florida A&M.
