McElroy selected for all-star games

Chouteau’s Dwight McElroy has been selected to participate in the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association all-star games June 9 in Shawnee.

The OBCA selects players from every classification, 6A through B, and schedules all-star games to be played at Oklahoma Baptist University.

McElroy will play for the Class 2A squad that will meet 3A stars in the middle of the three games.

McElroy previously was selected to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State teams.

Only seniors are eligible for the OBCA recognition.
