Fishing report

Hudson — Monday. Elevation normal. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits. Channel and blue catfish good on juglines baited with cut shad at 8-10 feet. Crappie good on minnows and jigs at 4-8 feet. Steve Loveland, game warden, Rogers and Mayes counties.

Spavinaw — Wednesday. Elevation slightly below normal, water 75 and dingy. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 15-20 feet. Largemouth bass fair on plastic crawfish and pork rind and jig combo. Dwight Moore, city of Tulsa.

Eucha — Wednesday. Elevation one-third foot below normal, water 76 and dingy. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around brush and structure at 12-14 feet. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits. Bluegill good on crickets and worms around grass beds. Catfish fair on cut shad. Dwight Moore, city of Tulsa.

Eufaula — May 20. Elevation normal, water clear in the east and murky in the west. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along rocky areas. White bass good on jigs below the dam when releasing water. Blue catfish good on various baits at 2-8 feet along rocks and riprap. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 6-12 feet along docks and standing timber. Ed Rodebush, game warden, McIntosh County.

Fort Gibson — May 20. Elevation one foot above normal, water 76 and clear. Largemouth bass good on topwater lures, spinnerbaits and worms anywhere around gravel beds and stumps. Catfish good on juglines and rod-and-reel on shad and cut bait drifting the main flats around Long Bay and Highway 51 Bridge. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-15 feet. White bass fair on spinnerbaits while trolling and wading the windy points. Rick Stafford in Wagoner.

Grand — Tuesday. Elevation normal, water 74. Catfish fair on juglines baited with cut bait above Sailboat Bridge. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 20-25 feet below docks. Kody Moore, game warden, Delaware County.

Greenleaf — Monday. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and jig-and-worms along shorelines, creek channels, brush structure, rocky points and moss beds. Catfish good on liver and fresh cut bait on bottom. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in green and yellow around fishing docks and brush structure. Lark Wilson, game warden, Muskogee County.

Hulah — May 20. Elevation 5 feet above normal, water clearing. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 6-8 feet. Catfish fair on cut shad and worms below the dam. Joe Alexander, game warden, Washington County.

Keystone — Monday. Elevation half-foot above normal, water 73. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 5-10 feet. Catfish fair on juglines and trotlines baited with cut bait and shad. White bass fair off points. Karlin Bailey, game warden, Creek County.

Lower Illinois — Monday. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits at 1-2 feet all along the river. White bass fair on jigs at 1-3 feet all along the river. Striped bass and striped bass hybrids fair on live bait at 1 foot at the mouth of the river. Channel catfish fair on cut bait on bottom all along the river. Crappie fair on jigs at 1-2 feet all along the river. Trout excellent fly-fishing the surface, on rooster tails at 1-2 feet and on Power Bait on bottom from Gore Landing to the dam. D. Tracy, Gore.

Oologah — May 20. Elevation 5 feet above normal and falling, water upper 60s to low 70s and muddy. Blue catfish fair on juglines baited with shad at 10-15 feet. White bass fair trolling shad colored crankbaits at 10 -12 feet on flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 10-12 feet suspended around standing timber. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits around flooded brush. White bass fair on jigs below the dam. Blue catfish fair on shad below the dam. Brek Henry, game warden, Rogers County.

Robert S. Kerr — Wednesday. Bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic worms in shallow areas along the weeds. White bass good on plugs when surfacing. Blue catfish excellent on juglines and trotlines baited with cut shad. Flathead catfish good on live shad and sunfish. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around strip pits. Allen Couch, game warden, Haskell County.

Skiatook — Monday. Elevation 6 feet below normal, water upper 70s and clear in the lower end and murky in the upper end. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 5-15 feet around structure. White bass and striped bass hybrids fair on live shad at 15-30 feet around the Highway 20 Bridge. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits in creeks and coves. Paul Welch, game warden, Osage County.

Tenkiller — Tuesday. Elevation normal, water 75 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on soft plastics in shallow water and on crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-15 feet. Catfish good on flip-flops with cut bait at 20-30 feet. Sunfish good on nightcrawlers in or near docks. Crappie fair on jigs at 15-20 feet in brush. Monte Brooks, Cookson Village Resort.

Webbers Falls — Monday. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits, buzz baits and bill  baits along riprap, creek channels and brush structure. Catfish good on fresh cut bait and liver on bottom along mudflats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in purple and black around bridges and brush structure. Lark Wilson, game warden, Muskogee County.
