Pryor dismisses Miami

PRYOR — Pryor holds a 7-5 record after dismissing Miami 63-50 at home Saturday.

The first quarter was the only competitive time of the game thanks to play from Miami senior Chris Osborn, who scored all of the Wardogs points.

Pryor sophomore forward Ryan Ogg was a force in the paint during the second quarter with points, rebounds and an authoritative block on the baseline.

Tigers’ senior point guard Zac Baumert drained a trey at the buzzer.

A 15-12 Tigers lead after one turned into an 11-point Pryor advantage before the break.

Senior forward Chase Ross couldn’t miss in the third, scoring from inside and out against the Miami visitors.

An 18-point lead from balanced team scoring shut the door on the Wardogs before the fourth quarter began.

Chase Ross led Pryor scorers with 19 points.

Ogg foolowed with 14 points, and Baumert dropped 13.

Pryor takes onCoweta for homecoming Tuesday, Jan. 15.
