Fishing report

Hudson —  No report submitted.

Spavinaw — Tuesday. Elevation slightly above normal, water 43 and slightly dingy. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows around the dam area. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits. Dwight Moore, city of Tulsa.

Eucha — Tuesday. Elevation slightly above normal, water 43 and clear. Crappie fair on jigs and minnows at 14-16 feet around brush and structure. Largemouth bass fair on plastic baits. Dwight Moore, city of Tulsa.

Eufaula — Feb. 12. Elevation half-foot above normal, water clear. Largemouth bass slow. White bass slow. Blue catfish fair on fresh shad on the flats. Crappie fair at 8-20 feet along riprap, boat docks with brush and standing timber. Ed Rodebush, game warden, McIntosh County.

Fort Gibson —  Feb. 12. Elevation 1 foot above normal, water 45 and clear. Catfish good on garlic little smokies and shad drifting the main river channel north and south of Highway 51 Bridge. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs at 20-25 feet in brush under docks and around structure. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits and at 5-15 feet in the back of the coves during the warm periods. Greenleaf — Monday. Elevation normal, water clear. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, crankbaits and jigs-and-worms along shorelines, creek channels and brush structure. Catfish good on fresh cut bait at the spillway and creek channels in the upper end. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in green, yellow and red around brush structure and fishing docks. Lark Wilson, game warden, Muskogee County.

Lower Illinois —  Monday. Striped bass fair on jigs at 1-4 feet at the mouth of the river. Striped bass hybrids slow on jigs at 1-3 feet at the mouth of the river. Channel catfish good on cut bait all along the river. Trout excellent fly-fishing the surface, on rooster tails at 1-3 ft. and on Power Bait on bottom from the dam to Gore Landing. D. Webbers Falls — Monday. Elevation normal, water murky. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits around brush structure and riprap. Catfish good on fresh cut bait and stinkbait on bottom. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in purple and black around brush structure and bridges. Lark Wilson, game warden, Muskogee County.
