Obituary Marcus Goforth

PRYOR — Marcus Wayne Goforth was born October 12, 1996, in Tulsa, to Mary Dawn Brewster and Jospeh Goforth. He died Thursday, in Peggs, at the age of 16.

Goforth attended Locust Grove schools.He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

Goforth is survived by his mother: Mary Dawn Brewster and step-father Robert of Welch; his father, Joseph Goforth of Eufaula three brothers: Matthew D. Nichols and Mickey R. Nichols, both of Welch, and Joseph Goforth Jr., of Oolagah; three sisters, Kari F. Nichols, Melody L. Presscott, and Delaney Brewster all of Welch; Grandfather, Larry LeForce Sr. of Jay;Step-grandmother: Vicki Ogden of Jay; Grandmother, Carol Goforth of Locust Grove

He was preceded in death by: Grandmother, Mary H. LeForce; Grandfather, Tommy Goforth; two brothers, David W. Nichols and Jonathan “Rocky” Nichols; and one cousin, Katelynn LeForce.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, at the Locust Grove Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie LeForce will officiate. Interment will follow at the New Home Cemetery in Peggs.
