Denise England

PRYOR, OK — Funeral services for Denise England, 42, of Lytle, Texas formerly of Pryor, are Saturday, March 2, 10 a.m., at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Jon Ketcher will officiate with burial following at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Book signing will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.

England was born on Jan. 17, 1971, in Pryor to Jerry and Lorene (Scott) England. She died Sunday, Feb. 24,  in San Antonio.

England grew up and attended school in Pryor; she graduated from Pryor High School in 1989. While in high school, she was active on the high school flag team and involved in choir during her senior year. she had a great love of dance; she started taking dance classes in Pryor as a kindergartner and continued through high school. As she got older, she taught dance to a lot of little girls at Ms. Jimmie’s School of Dance. After high school, she attended Rogers State University where she worked on her college basics.

She was a mother to two children, Sabra and Yossi. They lived in Pryor until the kids were five and four years old, then they moved to the San Antonio, Texas. It is in San Antonio that England began her career in the mortgage industry.

She worked in the mortgage industry for the past 10 years; working for Armadillo Homes as a loan processor as well as for Legacy Mutual for the past two years.

England and her husband Michael loved the great outdoors; they spent time camping and traveling and she loved her two poodles, Riley and Max.

She is survived by her husband Michael Callaway, one daughter Sabra Tortomasi of Lytle, Texas; one son, Yossi Tortomasi of San Antonio; one grandson, Matthew Tortomasi of San Antonio; mother Lorene England of Pryor;  half-brother Chris England of Portland, Ore; grandmother Louise Scott of Sedgwick, Kan. and other special family members and friends.
