June 1, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the June 26 primary election.
Persons who are United States citizens, residents of Oklahoma, and at least 18 years of age may apply to become registered voters.
Persons who have never registered to vote or who are not registered in the county of their residence, and persons who are registered but need to change their registration information may apply to register or to update by filling
out and mailing an Oklahoma Registration Application form in time for it to be postmarked by June 1.
Applications are available at the Election Board Office on the first floor of the Mayes County Courthouse, and at most post offices, libraries, and tag agencies. McCullah said that applications are also available on the Internet at www.elections.ok.gov.
