It has always been the goal of the Oklahoma Aquarium to bring guests as close as possible to the wonders of aquatic life without getting too wet.
Today at 11 a.m., a new exhibit, Extreme Amazon, will be officially dedicated and will offer an immersive experience like no other.
Children, and adventurous adults, will be able to crawl under the tank and view exotic Amazonian fish and iguanas through acrylic “pop up” bubbles. This is an incredible opportunity to come face-to-fish from under the water’s surface.
The Extreme Amazon features fish native to the Amazon River and iguanas crawling on tree limbs replicating the natural habitat.
