1978 Heisman and Former Sooner Running Back, Billy Sims Appearing at Pryor-Billy Sims Barbecue with the Billy Sims Barbecue Ultimate Tailgate Tour Saturday, November 10.
TULSA, OK, November 8, 2012- The Billy Sims Barbecue Ultimate Tailgate Tour will be in Pryor, Oklahoma at the Billy Sims Barbecue on Steve Berry Boulevard. Legendary Sooner running back and 1978 Heisman Trophy recipient, Billy Sims is making a special appearance at the restaurant and will be hosting an autograph session 11am-4pm Saturday, November 10. All sports fans and barbecue enthusiasts are welcome to meet Billy and tour his memorabilia museum.
The Billy Sims Barbecue Ultimate Tailgate Tour is a custom built, 48 foot mobile memorabilia museum that combines Billy’s passions for football and barbecue into one unique fan experience.
Adorned with Sooner, Heisman and Detroit Lions memorabilia, the mobile museum offers a glimpse into the rich athletic history of Billy Sims. There is no charge to tour the museum and Billy’s fan-memorabilia and merchandise will be available for purchase. In addition, the Billy Sims Barbecue restaurant will be open and serving Billy’s legendary, award winning Boomer-Q.
