Adair residents need not be alarmed when they hear the new emergency storm siren. The storm siren is brand new and needs to be tested over the next week. Mayes County Emergency Management Director Johnny Janzen said residents can expect to hear the siren several times for testing. The testing won’t be done on stormy days. After the initial testing, the siren will be tested weekly on Tuesdays at noon.
