In honor of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s (NSDAR) National American Indian Heritage Month, Locust Grove Mayor Shawn Bates signed a proclamation naming November National American Indian Heritage Month for the town. The city has an American Indian
heritage and celebrates the contributions that American Indians have given to the area and throughout the United States. On hand for the proclamation were Barbara Breedlove and Donna Talley, members of the Union Mission Chapter of the NSDAR.
