Woman steals iPod and $20, facing felony charge
A former Locust Grove Early Learning Center custodian faces a felony charge of knowingly concealing stolen property and petty larceny after allegedly stealing an iPod and $20 at the school.
Arwanna Tillerson, 40, Locust Grove was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Mayes County Jail. Locust Grove School Resource Officer Karen Raith said she was notified by a school employee of a theft. During her investigation she narrowed the suspects down to Tillerson. Raith said after she spoke to Tillerson, the custodian signed a Miranda waiver and returned the property.
The iPod was valued at $275.
