Food inspection violations of county restaurants recently published in The Daily Times have no connection to the outbreak from the Country Cottage restaurant in Locust Grove.
Restaurants with more than 50 violations over a four-year period were highlighted. The total number of violations do not reflect how the restaurants are currently operating.
A list of the most recent inspections is below. Not all violations can be related to causing food borne illnesses. A * listed means a violation could be directly related to food borne illnesses.
Charlie’s Chicken - 50 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 7 showed violations in four categories. One *.
China Buffet - 69 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 5 showed no violations.
Cook’s Restaurant - 80 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 5 showed violations in four categories.
Dairy Deal - 51 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 18 showed six violations.
Del Rio Mexican Restaurant - 91 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on July 29 showed violations in five categories. One *.
Dutch Pantry - 86 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on July 31 showed no violations.
El Royal - 60 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 14 showed no violations.
Frosty and Edna’s Restaurant - 64 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 20 showed violations in five categories.
Goldie’s - 83 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 19 show only one violations. Goldie’s is one of two restaurants in the list which have no violations over a four-year period which could be directly related to food borne
illnesses.
Kentucky Fried Chicken - 81 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection showed on Aug. 13 showed no violations. The one directly prior to that on Aug. 7 showed 15 violations. Two*.
Luther’s Drive In - 56 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Jan. 23 showed no violations.
Mid-American Grille - 78 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on July 31 showed no violations.
Pizza Hut on North Adair in Pryor - 50 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Jan. 7 showed violations in six categories. Pizza Hut is the other restaurant in the list with no violations over four years which could be related to causing food borne illnesses.
Shelley’s Family Restaurant - 68 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on Aug. 21 showed only one violation.
Stephenson’s Corner - 50 violations since 2004. The most recent violation on Aug. 21 showed violations in six categories.
Willard’s Day and Night - 63 violations since 2004. The most recent inspection on July 25, 2007, showed violations in 10 categories. One *.
