An arrest warrant was issued for a 23-year-old woman for allegedly stealing a purse from her place of employment.
Chasidy Leanne Garrison was charged Thursday with grand larceny for taking a purse with $1,700 cash, credit cards and other items from a residence where she was employed.
Court reports state Garrison cleaned a home for a woman in Pryor. The victim left her purse by her bed while Garrison was cleaning the bedroom. The purse was missing when Garrison left.
Detective Steve Lemmings interviewed Garrison, who admitted she took the purse. Garrison told Lemmings she took approximately $700 and threw the rest in a dumpster.
An arrest warrant was issued for Garrison. The bond set on the warrant is $1,500.
