Locust Grove woman charged with rape
A 37-year-old Locust Grove woman was arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old boy.
Gwendolyn Sue Forbes was charged with two felony counts of second degree rape. She was arrested Feb. 19 and is being held in the Mayes County jail on a $50,000 bond.
Forbes admitted in a video taped confession to having sex with the boy no less than eight times in 2007. All but one
incident occurred at Forbes’ residence outside of Locust Grove. The Mayes County Sheriff’s office was told of the allegations by the boy’s mother.
Investigator Albert McKee interviewed the boy and he admitted to having a sexual relationship with Forbes for over six months.
Forbes’ next court date is March 16, at 9:30 a.m.
