GROVE--A 14-year-old who was raped, became pregnant three years ago, and removed from the home, has allegedly fallen prey to a guardian father who is charged with raping and impregnating her.
The foster parent, Timothy Joe Mountford, 49, Grove, was charged in Delaware County district court with one count each of rape and child sexual abuse.
The girl reportedly told Det. Sgt. Mark Sheridan, a Grove police officer, that on Nov. 7, she’d had a seizure at school and was taken to Integris Grove General Hospital. At the hospital, according to the teen, she and Mountford’s wife, Vickie Mountford, had been informed the 14-year-old was about 11 weeks pregnant.
Once home, in her husband’s presence, Vickie Mountford confronted the teen wanting to know who’d fathered the child. When the girl wouldn’t divulge the information, Vickie Mountford asked Tim Mountford to leave the room, and the 14-year-old said it was him who’d gotten her pregnant, according to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court clerk.
The same day, Tim Mountford reportedly admitted to his wife that he’d had sex with the teen one time, Vickie Mountford reported to authorities.
The sheriff’s department Tim Mountford was released after posting $150,000 bond set in the case. The bond did not require him to stay away from the alleged victim.
Delaware County court records indicate that on Dec. 20, 2004, Tommy James Isbell, 35, of Jay, was sentenced to spend life in prison on 16 counts of sexually abusing the same girl when she was age 11.
The Department of Human Services reported placing the victim in state custody after a test revealed she was pregnant and claimed Isbell was the father.
At sentencing, Isbell pled guilty to all charges and admitted to authorities he’d raped the girl multiple times over a period of several months when she was 11 years old.
Isbell is incarcerated at R.B. Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy. He will be eligible for a parole hearing in 2042, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections website.
