Man arrested for soliciting sex at Love's

An Alabama man was arrested Tuesday for soliciting sex from an undercover female officer with the Mayes County Sheriff’s Office.

Randall Lynn Bookout, 47, Dora, Ala., was arrested after making a deal with two undercover officers to have sex with a female officer for $40.

Investigators said the officers were working undercover at Love’s convenience store in Chouteau.

The officers were attempting to catch people making drug deals, but ended up arresting Bookout for prostitution.

Bookout was approached to purchase drugs, but refused the drugs and asked if the officers could fix him up with a woman.

Since a female officer was with the other two officers, an agreement was made that Bookout would pay $40 to have sex with the undercover female officer.

Once the agreement was made, Bookout was arrested and taken to the Mayes County jail. He was released on a $2,500 bond Wednesday.
