Pryor Rescue Mission is conducting a food drive.
Shirley Giles said since children have been home from school parents have fed them three meals a day, creating the need for more food.
“Our pantry is very low,” Giles said.
The mission has the capability to store any kind of food items, including frozen items. Arrangements can be made to have food picked up. Food may be dropped off anytime at the mission. Someone is on duty 24-hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. The mission is located at 640 W. Graham. Monetary donations to buy food can be sent to P.O. Box 142, Pryor, OK 74361.
Giles asks that junk furniture not be dumped at the mission. Before dropping items, please check with the person on duty. It is a hardship on the mission to pay for disposing of junk items.
