Registered sex offender Donald Fisher was arrested Friday morning after Salina Police discovered he had a weapon.
Police Chief Allen Davis said the officers assisted probation and parole on a home visit to Fisher’s residence. When they arrived Davis said a weapon was found. Fisher was then arrested for possession of a firearam after a former conviction of a felony.
Fisher was found guilty in 2001 of a felony charge to procure, produce, distribute or possess child pornograhpy.
While in the residence Davis said officers noticed video was being taken of the area. A search warrant was obtained and officers went back to the residence where they discovered “thousands of dollars” worth of video equipment.
“We seized several types of video equipment,” said Davis.
At 8 p.m., the home owner, Ken Moore was arrested for use of video equipment in a clandestine manor.
Davis said during the search officers seized four firearms as well.
