Elementary principal arrested
Chouteau’s Elementary School Principal was arrested Tuesday around 3 p.m. on
suspicion of child sexual abuse.
David Ray Fisher, 45, is accused of three counts of
sexual child abuse to a 13-year-old child.
Mayes County Sheriff Frank Cantey said Fisher was working at Mazie School for 12 years as a bus driver, teacher and coach when the alleged events occurred. The alleged acts
took place during the 2003-2004 school year. The
victim is now 19.
Fisher was promoted to
principal in May.
Fisher was booked into Mayes County Jail. No bond had been set as of Tuesday evening.
