Pryor, OK —
TAHLEQUAH —All Cherokee Nation tag offices will be closed Aug. 8, for staff development. The tag offices will resume their normal hours on Thursday.
Cherokee Nation tag offices are located in Tahlequah, Collinsville, Sallisaw, Jay and Adair. The tag offices are a service provided through the Cherokee Nation Tax Commission. Cherokee Nation’s tag offices give Cherokee Nation citizens living in the 14-county jurisdictional area of the tribe the opportunity to purchase tribal motor vehicle tags. A portion of the revenue from each tag sold is contributed annually to area school districts.
