TAHLEQUAH — The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma will be hosting a volleyball tournament on Saturday, October 6, as part of the 62nd Annual Keetoowah Cherokee Celebration. Team rosters will consist of 4 men and 4 women, and the entry fee is $65 per team. The tournament will be limited to 12 teams. Registration will begin at 10 am and play begins around noon , following the Chief’s State of the Nation address.
Prizes forfirst place will be hooded sweatshirts, the second place winners will get long sleeve t-shirts and the third place winners will receive t-shirts. For more information or for a registration packet, contact Sonya Walker Green at (918) 506-0201.
