Hilltoppers of Life October meeting

The Hilltoppers of Life Fellowship Church enjoyed an inspiring time at Camp Tulakogee on Oct. 16.

The group was greeted with a fellowship brunch of doughnuts, coffee and juice. They met in the tabernacle for a presentation by Wes and Laurie Wilcox. They are church planters from Zambia, Africa, who also work with the Tidwells in a “New Day Orphanage”.

The book of “Ruth” was used in showing these orphans what God can and will do with anyone willing to walk with Him. The children are fed, clothed and given spiritual training, edcuation and training in the Zambian culture.

Next, “TheLinks,” a family of eight from Lebanon, Mo., presented a mucial program interspersed with testimonies. They recognize and use their talents for God, not only in song, but with a variety of mucial instruments, as well. The audience showed their appreciation for the bluegrass music, along with the singing of gospel numbers. This was followed by a meal enjoyed with fun and fellowship.

The following group of 16 attended; Jim Chronister, Howard and Wilma Reiser, Henry and Robert Buxman, Bill and Linda Huff, Thurman and Loretta Hibbard, Jim and Laurel Rabon, Carol and Norma Stone, Linda Moore, Ida Mae Phillips and Margie Collins.
