On Thursday, Jan.24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Cherokee Nation staff will be at the Claremore High School cafeteria located near the north entrance at 201 East Stuart Roosa to provide photo IDs for Cherokee Nation citizens.
CDIB and citizenship must be established before a Photo ID may be requested. The first photo ID is free. Additional photo IDs will be $5 each as you request replacements or an updated photo.
Bring CDIB, Tribal citizenship card (Blue Card) or a state issuedphoto ID to apply for a Tribal photo ID.
Children 12 and younger can get a new photo ID but must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the card.
Volunteers are being organized by Tulsa and Rogers County District 5 Tribal Council members Buel Anglen, Lee Keener and Cara Cowan Watts to assist the mobile photo ID team coming from Tahlequah.
The District 5 team is providing light refreshments and will be present throughout the event to answer questions.
