PRYOR —
Work on an upgraded 911 system for Mayes County and the City of Pryor can begin after Mayes County Commissioners passed a Memorandum of Agreement and Understanding between the board, The City of Pryor and Mayes Emergency Services Trust Authority. The motion was tabled at the last meeting for some changes in the wording of the agreement. An updated document was signed at the meeting Monday.
In other business, the commissioners:
• Approved West 519 as a new road name.
• Approved a resolution to trade in livestock scales for new ones for the fair board.
• Approved an agreement with with Cherokee Nation for road and bridge construction projects.
• Approved two utility crossings for District 1.
• Approved consideration for claims of payment.
• Approved the request for blanket purchase orders.
