Since 1944, the Pryor Rotary Club has offered $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from Pryor and other schools in Mayes County.
Since its inception, the Pryor Rotary Club’s College Scholarship Project has awarded thousands to students of Pryor and other Mayes County public schools.
Pryor Rotary Club has announced that it is accepting applications for the scholarship program.
Four $1,000 college scholarships will be given to eligible applicants; those being seniors in high school with plans to attend college in fall 2012.
Three scholarships will be awarded to Pryor High School graduates; and one will be award to a graduate attending a Mayes County high school.
The Pryor Rotary Club is accepting applications online at http://pryorrotary.wordpress.com or by request at pryorrotaryclub@gmail.com. Questions can be answered by Gerald Clack, chairman of the Rotary College Scholarship Committee at (918) 825-1514.
