OKLAHOMA CITY — A contract was awarded for bridge repair in Mayes County, Sen. Kim David and Rep. Ben Sherrer recently announced.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the project involves bridge rehabilitation on US-69 over Chouteau Creek, 9.4 miles north of the Wagoner County line.
David (R- Porter) said the State Transportation Commission awarded just over a $600,000 contract on the project to SCR Construction, Inc. The Richmond, Texas, company was the lowest of four bidders for the job, said Sherrer (D- Pryor Creek).
Once construction begins, the project is estimated to be completed within three months.
