Chouteau raises vendor fees

Chouteau Board of Trustees approved increases on their vendor license fees at their meeting Monday night.

Current prices are $3 for one day; $5 for one week; $10 for one month and $30 for a year. Following the increase, fees will be $5 for one day; $10 for one week; $25 for one month and $50 for a year.

Also discussed were electrical, plumbing and mechanical license and permit fees. First time electrical and plumbing licenses are currently $85 with renewals at $35. First time mechanical licenses are $35 with renewals at $25.

Electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits are $60 on new installation for residential, $70 for business. No action was taken, but the item will appear on a future agenda for consideration.

Trustees approved Budget Amendment No. 0910-15 in the Police Training and Equipment Fund’s Capital Outlay in the amount of $31,843 to pay off a 2008 Dodge Charger and to purchase a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The board then approved the payment of $5,300 to the Bank of Commerce to pay off the Dodge Charger. They

also approved a payment of $26,542.62 to Ruble-Vance Chevrolet in Guthrie for the purchase of the Tahoe.

In other business, City Trash Day has been scheduled for April 17. Several dumpsters will be placed in town to allow citizens locations to discard trash during the clean-up.
