Mayes County —
Mayes County Clerk would like to make the citizens of Mayes County aware of a company offering to provide copies of property deeds for a charge of $83.
“This company is offering a service to our citizens at a premium cost,” said Rita Littlefield, County Clerk, “A copy of any deed may be purchased from my office for $1 per page for the copy. My staff would be more than pleased to assist anyone who would like to obtain a copy of their deed.”
One company we have received notice of is Secured Document. They have apparently sent mass mailings across the state.
County Clerk, Rita Littlefield, said deeds are public record and copies are available by contacting her office at (918) 825-2426 or One Court Place, Suite 120, Mayes County Courthouse, Pryor, OK 74361.
