Drug suspects released with no charges

PRYOR — Carl Don Thomas, 26, of Pryor and Robert William Rowbotham, 41, of Locust Grove were releasedfrom the custody of the Mayes County Jail Tuesday afternoon.

At 2 a.m., the two were taken into custody after a drug exchange investigated by Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and an off-duty Salina Police Officer. They had their initial court appearance with Judge Rebecca Gore, who explained both were being released with no charges. She reminded the men this does not mean there won’t be charges made in the future.
