Ralph Smith, a 50-year resident of Adair, was found dead in a ravine Wednesday around 7:30 a.m.
Smith’s wife had been transported to the hospital Tuesday and he left in his vehicle at 1:30 p.m. Smith’s vehicle was found in a ravine in Sherman, Texas at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday and according to Mayes County Undersheriff Albert McKee, it appeared Smith had been in the car for a large portion of the night. Smith’s family was notified when he was found.
