ADAIR — Ketchum High School sophomore Breeanna Broadway finished first in FCCLA regional STAR competition in Broken Arrow Friday. She will participate in state competition on March 31 as one of five state finalists. Family Career and Community Leaders of America is the extracurricular group associated with Family and Consumer Science classes, formerly known as home economics classes. Students Taking Action for Recognition events include Broadway’s New Member Facts, which allows her to demonstrate knowledge of leadership skills, FCCLA historical information and career readiness skills through a written assessment.
