After much work and discussion, Mayes County Commissioners passed a resolution to adopt the Roadway Design and Construction Standards for Mayes County Monday. District 3 Commissioner Ryan Ball said many things were changed, added and taken away from the document.
In other business, the commission:
• Approved a deposit to the T-County Highway fund from Oklahoma Emergency Management and for roadway work in District 3.
• Approved replacing a fence on Strang Road on the Isidora Sanchez property. The fence was removed when trees were removed from the property on the request of a person who was not the real owner of the property.
• Tabled action on the Memorandum of Agreement and Understanding regarding Mayes county 911 upgrade and improvements to hardware and software systems between the board, the City of Pryor Creek and Mayes Emergency Services Trust Authority. Additional changes must be made to the document.
• Approved consideration of claims for payment.
• Approved the request for blanket purchase orders.
