Melvin Boyd, 64, and Donna Boyd, 63, Salina were both taken to Mayes County Medical Center after their vehicle rolled on Highway 20 near the cemetery Tuesday. Reports state Melvin was driving west into Pryor and hit the curb on the right side, then overcorrected and almost entered the eastbound lane. He then overcorrected again and drove up the curb, sliding
sideways for 44 feet before the vehicle rolled one and a quarter times. Donna managed to crawl out of the vehicle after the accident, while officers had Melvin wait to be extracted by the fire department.
