— A two-mile section of road between W540 and W470 in District 1 will soon be re-chipped and sealed.

Mayes County commissioner Darrell Yoder asked the Mayes County Commission at its meeting Monday to approve $50,000 to pay for the road. The motion was approved.

In other business, the commissioners:

• Approved an independent contractor agreement for Murphy Creek Bridge.

• Approved a contract with Clifford for the generators at the Mayes County Courthouse. The contract will save the courthouse around $150 and Clifford is the same company that services the generators for the 911 towers.

• Approved moving $3,000 from the general fund to the extra help account. Money in the extra help account was running low after all of the elections.

The next regularly scheduled meeting

of the Mayes County Commission will be

9:30 a.m. Monday at the Mayes County Courthouse.
