Chouteau Pound Pals hosted “Pups in the Park” in Chouteau Oct. 3 to raise funds for the organization. Hot dogs were sold, a car wash, bake sale and a silent auction were also featured. Nearly $800 was raised to help pay for the care of the animals in the Chouteau Pound.
Their next big event is Chouteau Pound Pals Day at the Main Street Deli & Pizza in Chouteau on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The Deli is donating 20 percent of that day’s sales to the Pound Pals.
On Saturday, Dec 5, Pound Pals will be hosting a Christmas Lights Bus Tour. The motorcoach bus will tour Christmas lights in the Muskogee area. Live music and singing will be featured on the bus. The tour begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 each and are available through Wanda's Tours in Claremore at (918) 341-4253.
