School board election results





The school board election results became official at 5 p.m. Friday. Although numbers were available earlier, according to Mayes County Election Board, none could be considered official until Friday.

Salina School Board had two people running for the seat. Leroy Monk received 85 votes and Patricia Blackford received 47 votes.

In the Locust Grove School Board Election, Cyndi Moore was the winner with 294 votes. Danny Dawson received 90 votes, Alan Turner received 116 votes and Stacy Nix received 15 votes.

The Locust School bond issue will go to the voters March 5.
