Goldie Ann Raleigh, 32, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Wednesday charged with misdemeanor obstructing an officer. Raleigh pleaded no contest.
Raleigh was found guilty and given a one year suspended sentence in the Mayes County Jail. She must pay a $40 per month fee to the district attorney’s office and meet with the DA’s office once a month for a year. Raleigh must pay a $200 fine, $100 to the Victims Impact Panel, plus court costs. Raleigh gave officer Rod Howell of the Chouteau Police Department false information while he was conducting an investigation on March 28.
Amanda Montgomery, 40, Pryor, was charged with possession of controlled substance in the presense of a minor in Mayes County District Court. She was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in concert with Simon Chase. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 24. Bond was set at $5,000. Montgomery is ordered to have no contact with the minor.
Montgomery is alleged to have had Xanex on her person when she was arrested on Tuesday. Montgomery allegedly had a straw that could be used to consume drugs.
Donald Ray Hughes, 50, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Wednesday charged with failure to register as a sex offender and living as a registered sex offender within 1,000 feet of school. Hughes pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 21. Bond was set at $50,000.
Hughes was convicted in 1999 of two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. In 2002, Hughes was convicted of false personation. In 2005, Hughes was convicted of first degree rape by instrumentation. All of Hughes’ previous convictions took place in Mayes County.
Derecko Karay Marshall, 19, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with misdemeanor assault and battery in concert with Desmond Jacque Mayfield Jr. Marshall pleaded guilty. Marshall was ordered to pay fines and court costs and given a suspended sentence. Marhsall allegedly assaulted Michael Munday on March 25 at the Love’s Truck Stop on Highway 69 and 412.
Christopher D. Benefield, 48, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday charged with stalking. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 15. Bond was set at $5,000. Benefield was charged with stalking Brittany Bridges at her place of employment Denny’s Restaurant on May 17.
Benefield told Judge Shawn Taylor that he hoped this arraignment would go quickly as he needed to go have a bowel movement.
Matthew James Moore, 22, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving with license suspended or canceled a misdemeanor, failure to pay taxes due the state, a misdemeanor, and speeding. The case was wet on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 21. Bond was set at $10,000. Moore is alleged to have had methamphetamines on his person, not having a valid drivers license, owing back taxes on his 1993 Chevrolet Camaro and speeding on Saturday. Moore plead guilty to the charge of speeding and pleaded not guilty on the other charges. He was ordered to pay a $50 fine for speeding plus court costs. Moore has a failure to pay hearing for fines and costs on May 30 for a March 2012 conviction of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Terry Wayne Epperson, 47, Pryor, was not in Mayes County District Court Monday for an application to revoke a suspended sentence. Epperson was not in court for his preliminary hearing sounding docket on May 10. Judge Rebecca Gore issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Bond was forfeited and tripled. Bond is $150,000 on both 2011 cases. Epperson has been charged with two counts of second degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property in April of 2011. Epperson was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in May 2011.
Epperson is facing a 2012 charge of second degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
Jake Benjamin Meeks, Jr., 21, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with attempted first degree burglary, a felony, and public intoxication, a misdemeanor. Meeks pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 21. Bond was set at $10,000. Meeks is alleged to have attempted to break into a house at 206 NE 5th St. in Pryor owned by Bruce and Kia Kucharski and to being intoxicated at 100 N. Taylor St. in Pryor on Monday.
Lisa Michelle Worsham, 45, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court on Tuesday charged with obtaining merchandise by bogus check, a misdemeanor. Worsham pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket
Sept. 7. Worsham was free on $1,000 bond. She is alleged to have written a bogus check for $50 at Harps grocery store in Locust Grove on Aug. 22, 2011.
Elizabeth Amber Watkins, 30, Langley, was in Mayes County District Court Monday charged with obtaining merchandise by bogus check, a misdemeanor. She pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 7. Bond is $1,000. Watkins is alleged to have purchased items from Dam Stop store in the amount of $45.30 on July 3, 2011.
Preston Michael Langston, 22, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Monday charged with attempted grand larceny. Langston pleaded not guilty. Bond was set at $10,000. Langston is charged with several misdemeanor counts: leaving the scene of an accident with damaged fixtures, careless driving, driving with a license suspended and failure to report an accident. Langston pleaded not guilty. Bond on the misdemeanor charges is $10,000. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket on both cases Sept. 7.
Langston is alleged to have attempted to hook up a 2003 TrailM, 19’ travel trailer belonging to John M. Gann on March 28. Langston is alleged to have recklessly driven his 1994 Cadillac four-door car causing it to strike a chain link fence belonging to Willards Day and Night Store at Ewing Street and Scenic 412, leaving the scene of the accident, driving with a suspended license, and failure to report the accident all on Feb. 6.
Langston is facing a willful failure to pay hearing for fines and costs on a 2011 case. Langston owes $306.54. That hearing is May 23.
Taran W. Jones, 19, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Ccourt Monday, charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 10. Bond is $50,000. Jones is alleged to have possessed methamphetamines and baggies on April 15.
Janelle Annette Dubois, 19, Spavinaw, was in Mayes County District Court Monday, charged with knowingly concealing stolen property, a felony, and misdemeanor charges of actual physical control of a vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident involving damage and escape from jail. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket May 10. Bond is $10,000. Dubois is alleged to have stolen two wheels and tires from Cates Salvage, a shelf belonging to Carl Duniphin, three travel bags with numerous DVDs, one Visio 32 inch flat-screen television, one Sony laptop, one drill, one box with tools, a large amount of new and used clothing and shoes, four bags of jewelry, one container of CDs, two purses and wallet that was stolen from Jenny Mouse. Dubois is alleged to have been in a Chevrolet pickup truck under the influence of an intoxicating substance, damaging a fence belonging to Donald Cates while driving the Chevrolet pickup, and escape from Mayes County Jail. All of these alleged incidents occurred on April 13.
David Allen Raindsek, 25, Salina, was in Mayes County District Court Monday, charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the reliminary hearing sounding docket May 10. Bond is $10,000. Raindsek is alleged to have had methamphetamines on his person, along with a syringe on April 14.
