Court notes 7/15/2012

Jay W. Stimpson, 34, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday, charged with bail jumping. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Aug. 16. Bond was set at $10,000. Stimpson was charged with bail jumping on May 18 and failure to appear in court on Feb. 24. Stimpson allegedly violated a protective order and attempted escape from arrest. Stimpson is to reappear in court for the protective order violation charge from 2011 on Sept. 7. Bond on that case is $45,000. Stimpson will be in court on another violation of protective order case from 2011 the same day. Bond on that case is $7,500.

Robert Dean DeGraff, 57, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday, charged with violation of a protective order. DeGraff pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket Sept. 7. Bond was set at $2,000. DeGraff is alleged to have texted Katherine Whalen in violation of a protective order on July 2. DeGraff was charged in a different case in June with a violation of a protective order placed against him by Jerry Graham. DeGraff allegedly called Graham on two occasions.
