William Lee Estes, 40, was in district court Friday charged with four felony counts. Count 1 possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Count 2 intention to distribute controlled dangerous substance, Count 3 possession of surveillance equipment during commission of a felony, Count 4 possession of drug paraphernalia - a misdemeanor. Estes pleaded not guilty, bond was set at $100,000. Preliminary hearing is March 15. Estes was arrested Thursday.

Joshua Allen Meadows, 23, Tulsa, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with one count of public intoxication. After pleading not guilty he changed his plea to guilty and was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus court costs.  Meadows was arrested on Jan. 14 by Pryor Police.

Meadows was back in court Wednesday charged with one count of public intoxication. He pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a $100 fine plus court costs. Meadows was arrested Wednesday for public intoxication by Pryor Police.

Robert Howard Pirtle, 34, Locust Grove, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with one count of petty larceny. Pirtle pleaded guilty. Pirtle will pay a $500 fine, a $50 victim’s impact assessment and court costs. Pirtle took scrap metal belonging to Dave Morehead on Jan. 16.

Scott Lee Moore, 50, Vinita, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with one count of petty larceny, one count of driving without a license and one count obstructing an officer. Moore pleaded guilty to all three counts. Moore will pay a $500 fine for petty larceny, plus $50 victim’s impact assessment and court costs. Moore will pay a $100 fine for driving without a license plus court costs and a $500 fine and $50 victims impact assessment plus court costs for obstructing an officer.

Moore took bedding, black duck paint and a blanket from Wal-Mart. He was found driving without a license and admitted to obstructing officer Jeremy Cantrell of the Pryor Police Department on Jan. 16.

Philip Kevin Hylton, 52, Adair, was in district court Thursday charged with five counts of obtaining merchandise by bogus check. Hylton posted bond and appeared in court on his own recognizance. Preliminary hearing is set for March 15. The incidents allegedly occurred in Jun. of 2010 at The Woodshed in Adair and Aug. 2011 at Pryor Lumber.

Shannon Jean Curtis, 32, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday for failure to pay fines and costs and failure to appear in court. Curtis said she was in Red Rock Recovery Center and could not be in court on Dec. 20. Bond was set at $30,000. Bondsman Larry Lee O’Leary was in the court room and told Judge Rebecca Gore that he was withdrawing from bonding Curtis on the basis Curtis owed him a lot of money. Curtis was charged with manufacture of a controlled dangerous substance on Feb. 18, 2011. Her next schduled court appearance is Feb. 16.

Richard Lee Blevins, 48, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Tuesday charged with one misdemeanor count of assault and battery. A not guilty plea was entered, bond was set at $1,000. The preliminary hearing sounding docket is Feb. 24. Blevins is alleged to have struck Brad Borchardt in the face on Jan. 13.

Jessica Marie Hopper, 19, was in Mayes County District Court Friday charged with three felony counts of possession of controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine), eluding/attempting to elude a police officer, and running a roadblock. Hopper was arrested Thursday near Highway 20 by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. A plea of not guilty was entered. Bond was set at $75,000. Hopper’s preliminary hearing is Jan. 19.
