Rusty Gene Willhite, Jr. 27, Chouteau, was in district court April 27, charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor. Whillhite pleaded not guilty. The preliminary hearing is May 24. Bond was set at $10,000. Willhite is ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. Willhite is alleged to have slapped, hit and stomped his sister-in-law Kela Gregory in the presence of an 8-year-old on Thursday. Willhite was convicted in 2007 in Tulsa county of two counts domestic assault and battery and interference with an emergency telephone call.
Rita Jo Wickliffe, 57, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court April 30, charged with burglary in the second degree and knowingly concealing stolen property in concert with Casey Malone LIghtfoot. Wickliffe pleaded not guilty. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 7. Bond was set at $10,000. Wickliffe is alleged to have broken into a building owned by Barry Yaffe with the intent to rob. Wickliffe is alleged to have concealed a stereo and another electrical items belonging to Yaffe.
Ginger Nicole Beach, 29, was in Mayes County District Court May 1, charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and a misdemeanor count of petit larceny. Beach pleaded not guilty. Bond was set at $10,000. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 7. Beach is alleged to have had methamphetamines on her person taking a can of spray tan from Wal-Mart in Pryor. Beach is charged with obtaining merchandise by bogus check in a different case.
Kenneth A. Chavez, 41, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Wednesday, charged with public intoxication. Chavez pleaded not guilty. Bond was set at $500. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 15. Chavez changed his plea to guilty and had to pay a $50 fine plus the court costs. Chavez was arrested for public intoxication on Tuesday.
John Dewey Panther Martin III, 22, Pryor, was in Mayes County District Court Thursday, charged with failing to appear on April 5 for his case involving grand larceny. Judge Shawn Taylor ordered Martin to reappear on June 7. Bond was set at $30,000, three times the amount owed, for failing to appear. Martin is alleged to have stolen a welder from John Key and a riding lawn mower from Linda Nall and knowingly concealing the stolen property in March.
Michael Horn, 52, Chouteau, was in Mayes County District Court Friday, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous drug (marijuana) and endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamines). Horn is alleged to have worked in concert with Kurt Allen Cherry. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 7. Bond was set at $50,000. Horn is alleged to have had marijuana and pseuedephedrine at Prairie View Apartments in Pryor on Nov. 15, 2011.
Thomas Lee Harris Jr. 40, Adair, was in Mayes County District Court Friday charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamines) and a misdemeanor count of driving without a license. A not guilty plea was entered. The case was set on the preliminary hearing sounding docket June 7. Bond was set at $10,000. Harris is alleged to have had methamphetamines on his person while driving a 1990 Ford two-door vehicle without a license on Friday.
